The Ancient Roots of Astronomy
It is often said that astronomy is the oldest among the sciences. As a matter of fact, the study of the positions and of the apparent movements of the stars dates back to many millennia before Christ. In its development, astronomy has left deep marks in almost all aspects of human culture from almost all other sciences, to language art history games, etc. The lecture describes some of these developments.
