The Standard Model of Particle Physics

A talk by Rob Knop (Quest University Canada) on October 30, 2010.

Astronomy-- the study of the very large and very distant, the study of outer space-- has for the better part of a century been intimately tied to fundamental physics-- the study of the very small, the study of inner space. I'll give you the eagle's eye overview of one of our two most fundamental theories of physics, the standard model of particle physics.
